Reaching the top of a route

Below are the rules for climbing a route.

  • Every route that you climbed before the competition started, must be repeated in order to count for the competition.
  • A route is considered climbed when it has been climbed from the ground up to and including the last hold.
  • Resting in the rope is not allowed.
  • In between blocks is not allowed.
  • Rope support (tight belaying) is not permitted.
  • Using other coloured holds is not permitted.
  • The use of elements and wall structures is permitted, except where the wall ends (for example, the sides of a window). In special cases this is indicated on a card along the route.
  • You are keeping your own progress.
  • The intermediate refreshes after a minute after checking off a route.
  • If you have question you can ask the employees of the climbing hall.

Point counting

The total number of points are calculated with the '1000 points divided by the number of climbers'. A route that is climbing a single person is worth 1000 points. When two climbers have ascended the route it is worth 500 points and so on.

  • Your total is the total of all your scores added together.
  • The points are divided over all categories.
