Experienced Climbers

Experienced climbers are welcome to climb at Bjoeks and conquer our 18 meter high indoor walls. Please note that you are always climbing at your own risk at Bjoeks.

We require climbers to be able to fasten themselves directly to the rope with a double eight knot. If you are not able to do this, for example because your climbing hall only uses pre-knotted ropes with carabiners, you are not able to climb independently in Bjoeks.

Attention: At Bjoeks, we do not do “can you please give me a refresher course” or “please explain one more time, then I’ll remember how to do it again”, or any other sort of short instructions. You are responsible for your own safety, so be sure that you, and your climbing buddies, all clearly know what to do and how to belay safely.

It is not allowed to give instructions to layman (unskilled) friends or family; if you want to climb with friends who cannot belay or have not completed a course, book an introduction course with our instructors!

If our trained crew find you incapable, or even dangerous, we reserve the right to ask you to stop climbing or leave, and we trust you will understand this to be for your own safety.
